As part of our surveillance activities, the Authority performs random ramp inspections on aircraft of Trinidad and Tobago and Foreign Air Operators. These inspections ensure that flight operations are being carried out safely and in compliance with the regulations. A ramp check will typically address the following areas:
• Validity of Licence, Ratings and Medical
• Manuals & Documents
• Safety Equipment
• Cabin Safety
• Aircraft External Condition
